The brutal rape and murder case of 8-year-old Asifa in India has sparked massive outrage throughout the country, and now, Bollywood ­– the nation’s largest film industry is taking it to the streets to mark their anger.

Along with thousands of Mumbai citizens, B-town celebs including Rajkummar Rao, Patralekha, Aditi Rao Hydari, Akshay Kumar, Twinkle Khanna, Kiran Rao, Vishal Dadlani, Anushka Manchanda, Tara Sharma, Kalki Koechlin, Sona Mohapatra, Helen, amongst others joined the peaceful protest.

The celebs were seen holding placards asking for justice for the eight-year-old and other rape victims. Earlier, Bollywood stars like Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sonam Kapoor, Mini Mathur and others have also shared their picture and videos of themselves on social media voicing their concerns. However, names like Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, and Aamir Khan have surprisingly been quiet.
