It’s winter and that can mean only one thing in Pakistan and that’s the unavoidable Shaadi season. However, before one actually gets to the nuptials, it’s always preceded with the innumerable wedding festivities, including the Mehndi.

But, what’s really a happening Mehndi – or these days a Shendi – without a grooving playlist to dance to, right? That’s exactly why we’ve compiled a list of all Pakistani songs to bust a move to…

Best Wedding Season Pakistani Songs List:

  • Billo Hai
  • Aaya Lariye
  • Bagiya
  • Lar Gaiyan
  • Ballay Ballay
  • 24/7 Lak Hilna
  • Munday Lahore De

Billo Hai

Perhaps one of the most fun songs from a Pakistani film this year, Parchi’s ‘Billo Hai’ is the perfect rendition by UK troupe Sahara to have a dance off on.

Aaya Lariye

Featuring some of Pakistan’s biggest celebs, Jawani Phir Nahi Ani 2 was surely a blockbuster no one is forgetting anytime soon. However, even bigger than the film was the song Aaya Lariye which we feel is surely an enthralling song to have on the list.

Bagiya

If there’s a need for a sweet song for the dulhan to dance to, then look no further than Urwa Hocane’s Bagiya from Rangreza. Sugarly sweet with complementing lyrics, this is one for the bride!

Lar Gaiyan

It’s been two years since Dobara Phir Se released but the magic of ‘Lar Gaiyan’ still seems to do the trick. Whether it’s the beautiful chemistry between all the four leads or just the lyrics and beats, this one has to be a favourite for a beautiful Mehndi dance or entry song.

Ballay Ballay

If Bin Roye gave us something better than the chemistry between Humayun Saeed and Mahira Khan, it was the song ‘Ballay Ballay.’ From the traditional beats to the fun choreography, this can make anyone stand up and dance.

24/7 Lak Hilna

From the biggest hit of 2017, it was Urwa Hocane’s ‘24/7 Lak Hilna’ from Punjab Nahi Jaungi, which makes the perfect fast number to have a group dance on. A good choreography on this song will definitely make it a noticeable act.

Munday Lahore De

The most colourful song to come out of Nabeel Qureshi’s repertoire, Load Wedding’s ‘Munday Lahore De’ is for the true Punjabi at heart. Filled with tappay style lyrics, this is a treasure trove for the perfect Mehndi or Dholki list.

Which of the songs is your favourite? Tell us in the comments.
