The last day of the ‘Made in Pakistan’ has been reserved for 10 fashion students, allowing them the opportunity to showcase on the platform. The Millennial Show will feature Farah Usman, Sundus Talpur, Salman Javed, Zainab Khalid, Amna & Rida, Shahmeer Ansari, Farah Asad, Sobia Halar, Naina Bhagwati and a TIP Collective Showcase. The best of the crop will get the opportunity to participate in the next Fashion Pakistan Week. One remembers the impressive first Millennial Show for rising talent, held at the IVSAA in 2014. Fashion student Madiha Raza made a winning impression and got the chance to show at the next season of FPW. One looks forward to what these 10 students have to offer and hopefully it will be creative, retail friendly clothing (as would be the purpose of showing as part of a trade show) as opposed to theses work.

Amongst the established designers, one looks forward to these capsule collections as they have been made with exports in mind. The TDAP has reportedly commissioned 10-piece capsules and purchased them from the designers as to prevent old clothes from being regurgitated. The event will be held for TDAP’s foreign buyers, with the intention of interesting them with fashionable, value-added products.
