Feroze Khan is a rising star, in the spotlight these days for his latest drama serial, Khaani. Though he appeared in Episode One for only three minutes, all reviews and reactions were about him and he kind of stole everyone else’s limelight. We were obsessively following his Twitter and Instagram feed and noticed that he has the craziest, cool and obsessive fans. So we asked him how, and why … all in good humour, of course!

SH: We have to say you have some crazy fans out there…

Feroze Khan: Alhumdulillah! I don’t do much; I don’t even go live on my Instagram…

SH: You may not go live but you do consistently post very, ahem ‘suggestive’ pictures of yourself…in bed, in the gym, on your bike, in your shower…okay, maybe not in your shower! Do they explain the fanfare?

Feroze: Yeah, I think boys are very gym-obsessed and body conscious these days! They love a good fit body…

SH: Hey, it’s not just the boys…

Feroze: Yeah, yeah…I don’t mind crazy fangirls, to be very honest. I love them all.

SH: On a serious note, which play do you feel contributed most to your popularity?

Feroze: Gul e Rana was the show. Honestly, Chup Raho was where I came into the limelight and Gul e Rana was the first time I got a solo track. This guy (Adeel Kamal) was actually the whole game changer in the show. He was controlling everything and everyone, so it was a difficult and challenging script for me. And just looking at the feedback, the love and appreciation that people have given me after that makes me think that now I have set the bar very high for myself.

We do think he’s raising the bar yet again in Khaani, which promises to be Feroze Khan’s next big drama serial. Episode 2 airs tonight. Are you cool, crazy fans excited?
