Bollywood filmmaker Abhishek Kapoor — whose film Kedarnath has been facing problems over differences with the producers — has now taken legal action against his female lead Sara Ali Khan, who is yet to make her Bollywood debut.

A Times of India report claimed Abhishek, who has taken over production of the film, has sent a legal notice to Sara for signing another film before completing Kedarnath and has demanded a whooping sum of Rs 5 crore from his female lead as compensation for alleged dispute of dates.

Apparently Sara was informed that the shooting for the said film will take place in May, June, and July, but her agent told Abhishek that she won’t be available in June as she has given dates for Karan Johar and Rohit Shetty’s Simmba which also features Ranveer Singh.

Well, this is not the first time Sara’s debut has been embroiled in a controversy. The film has been facing trouble since its inception. It was reportedly shelved in February but the producers and director resolved their differences later.
