With the global MeToo movement against sexual harassment taking the center-stage in India after Tanushree Dutta alleging Bollywood actor Nana Patekar of harassment, it seems more actors are now deciding to talk about the existence of such problems in the industry. The latest to do so are Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone.

The couple who were attending the Hindustan Times Leadership Summit 2018, spoke about their films, equation, wedding, and the #MeToo movement.

“It takes a lot of courage to come out and speak about harassment, but if it has actually happened, it is wrong and I condemn it,” said Ranveer while Deepika said that the #Metoo movement was not just about gender, but about right and wrong.

The couple has been in the news for their wedding for a while now. But while they refrained from accepting anything, they didn’t deny it either. Deepika said that they would let the world know about their wedding. The Padmaavat stars also danced to Khalibali.
