The much anticipated host-less 2019 Oscars held on Sunday did not disappoint us with its share of memorable moments, despite the untraditional format.

Queen and Adam Lambert kicked off the night, performing some of the band’s biggest hits, and Keegan-Michael Key arrived by a flying umbrella, Mary Poppins’ style.

Lady Gaga gave a tearful acceptance speech when Shallow won best original song. Rami Malek, who played Freddie Mercury, won best actor for Bohemian Rhapsody.

Period. End of Sentence, a film that follows Indian women fighting stigma surrounding menstruation, won an Oscar for best documentary short subject. In a shocking turn of events, the controversial movie Green Book beat out presumptive front-runner Roma for the best picture award.

Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga have us right in the feels. The stars gave a riveting performance of their hit Shallow from their film A Star Is Born.
