After putting a blanket ban on Pakistan artistes in India following Pulwama attacks, the filmmakers across the border are now banning the release of their respective films in Pakistan. Ajay Devgn and producer Dinesh Vijan were the first ones to announce the cancellation of their film’s release. Now, actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui has joined the bandwagon. The actor doesn’t want his next film Photograph to release in Pakistan.

The Indian daily DNA India has reported that while promoting the film recently, Nawazuddin Siddiqui said, “I don’t want my film Photograph to release in Pakistan.”

Directed by Lunchbox fame Ritesh Batra, Photograph also has Sanya Malhotra playing Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s love interest. The film’s trailer has received much appreciation and love from the Indian film fraternity and public alike. Twitter is also going gaga over Photograph’s storyline and how Sanya Malhotra and Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s unconventional pairing have brought out just the right shade of emotions. The movie is slated to hit the theatres in India on March 15.
