Legendary Pakistani rock band Junoon, that has given the country iconic songs like Sayonee, Garaj Baras and Yaar Binaa, is all set to release the 2019 Cricket World Cup anthem.

The last time Junoon released a World Cup song, it spawned the timeless classic Jazba Junoon, back in 1996. Now, 23 years later, the group has come together once again, leaving fans excited.

The news was confirmed in a video posted by the group’s lead vocalist, Ali Azmat, on his Instagram as well as Facebook.

The group appears thrilled to be doing this, adding that they’ve reunited for the unity of Pakistan. “This video is for all the different people of Pakistan, especially the ones who are marginalized,” says Ali in the video.

We are looking forward to the anthem and of course the cricket matches!
