Mahira Khan will be ruling the cinema screens this Eidul Azha with her performance in Asim Raza’s Parey Hut Love and a lead role in Ehteshamuddin’s Superstar. The actress looks charming in each and every frame that we have seen so far. Undoubtedly, Mahira has aced the art of romancing the camera and she has a star charisma that very few of her contemporaries can match.

Credit should be given where it’s due and Mahira’s nonchalant personality is one big factor which contributes to her mass appeal. But my oh my, when she dresses like a star, she owns every bauble and every ensemble like a queen. We’ve so far seen her in different avatars throughout the course of trailers and songs of Superstar and the designers and stylists have left no stone unturned in making Mahira’s charismatic personality outshines everyone.

Kudos to stylist Maha Rizvi, Rao Ali Khan and hair & make-up artist Babar Zaheer for putting together such alluring looks for the star. Sania Maskatiya has also worked on creating some of the main costumes for Mahira. Here’s a rundown of our haute favourite looks of Mahira Khan that stood out:

Mahira’s doll-like persona

As soon as Superstar’s first poster was revealed, Mahira’s cobalt blue princess dress caught our attention. On further probing we found out that the dress is by Filipino fashion designer, Michael Cinco. The gorgeous ball gown with an A-line skirt has elaborate crystal and thread work. Pulled-back hair and a sleek ponytail complements the attire and Mahira looks nothing less than a royalty in it.

Noori oozes glam

Mahira Khan

After watching Superstar’s peppy number Noori, we can’t wait to watch Mahira’s dance on big screen. The actress has won our hearts with her expressions and moves. However, Nida Azwer’s beautiful lehenga choli contributed a lot in making the song worthwhile. From the label’s Craft Revival collection, the orange lehenga choli with mirror and gota work is accentuated by a vibrant shade of blue. Loose wavy hair and hot pink bangles are just few examples of styling done right!

The classic black anarkali

Mahira Khan

Mahira wore a floor-length anarkali with golden trimmings in the song Bekaraan. The melodious tune held us in a trance but we can’t ignore her dress. The gilded black anarkali instantly reminds us of her most-imitated look from Humsafar. This one’s a winner too!

Honourable mentions

Mahira Khan

We have seen Mahira donning saris a few times in the recently released track Ghalat Fehmi. And yet again we can’t seem to get our eyes off her.

Which one of these looks do you love the most?
