It has been a somewhat washed out Eid this year, in Karachi at least, with most of the city submerged in a combination of rain and sewage water and the power out for most people. But that hasn’t stopped people from celebrating in whichever way and whatever capacity that they can. Instagram has been flooded with fancy Eid looks from all over the country, giving us style inspo of sorts.

Here are our top picks…

Iqra Aziz

Iqra Aziz has an inbuilt sense of style which enables her to pull off unique looks. This Eid she sports a pretty pink and black sari, accessorizing it with a double choker. The sleeveless black blouse, pulled back hair and winged liner gives her a very vintage look.

Maya Ali

Maya turns up the ethnic charm in this black and gold lehnga choli by Faiza Saqlain. Maya looks lovely, with her hair falling straight and those pretty gold earrings adding to her look.

Ayesha Omar

Ayesha Omar has a very versatile sense of style and she looks good in almost everything she wears. This Eid it’s a soft pink and pistachio green gharara by Maria B.

Hira Mani

Hira Mani, in an ivory classic angarkha and oversized dupatta, having a moment with her bakra.

Mawra Hocane

Mawra keeps her palette earthy in shades of nature; she’s wearing a traditional gharara by Elan paired with a somewhat modern short shirt and olive green dupatta.

Sajal, Ahad and Adnan

The Mirs: Sajal Aly, Ahad Raza Mir and younger brother Adnan are delightfully coordinated in their white Eid attire and statement shades.

Sonya Hussyn

Zahe Naseeb star, Sonya Hussyn should get an award for sporting the most stylish Eid look; that white sari and terra cotta blouse, brought together by a fashionably thin leather belt and combined with vibrant orange mehndi creates a lovely image. What makes it priceless is that million dollar smile though!

Sana Fakhir

It’s a simple look but a very elegant one. We love Sana’s mismatched white shalwar kurta, worn with silver Peshawari chappals and again, that vibrant orange mehndi.
