Oscar-winning Indian musician, A R Rahman is in Dubai where he will be performing his show The Journey: Celebrating Music this weekend. The music maestro held a press conference in relation to this where he expressed his desire to collaborate with Pakistani artists.

Answering a question regarding projects with singers from across the border, Rahman  said, “There have always been collaborations; ones with Shiraz Uppal, Nusrat Sahab, Zeb Bangash and Haniya Aslam as well – they have beautiful voices.”

The Journey: Celebrating Music will bring together live orchestra, light show, dancers and some of Bollywood’s biggest voices. The artists performing include Neeti Mohan, Harshdeep Kaur, Javed Ali, Benny Dayal, Jonita Gandhi, Keba Jeremiah and Haricharan Seshadri.

We have learnt that the concert, which is already sold out, will include a spectacular stage production with spellbinding visuals on larger than life LED screens.
