After winning over countless fans with his acting and hoping to win a few more with his upcoming Coke Studio stint, it seems Ahad Raza Mir has more which he wants to do as he dons on the executive producer hat for upcoming film Kalasha.

Aijazz Aslam — who is acting in the film — shared a picture on Instagram announcing that the dubbing had begun for the film. However, that post led to lots of speculation on Ahad’s role in the film.

“My role is that of the executive producer,” Ahad revealed in an exclusive chat with Something Haute, shattering hopes of all those who thought this would be his next acting venture. Sorry guys, this time, he’s on the other side of the camera!

According to Aijazz Aslam, the film focuses on the Kalash people of the Chitral Valley and revolves around a family. “The movie is about Kalash culture and revolves around a very emotional story of a family,” he told Something Haute. The film has been entirely shot in the Kalash Valley by a very young and dynamic director. “Farukh Turk has written and directed the film and Asif Raza Mir’s company (Hollywood scene) is doing all the post-production work,” he added.
