After stealing the spotlight in JPNA 2, Ahmad Ali Butt is all set for his next movie, Paray Hut Love (PHL)  along with Sheheryar Munawar and Maya Ali in the lead. Directed by Asim Azhar and produced by Sheheryar Munawar, the script is penned by Imran Aslam.

“I signed PHL around 6 months before the release of JPNA2,” Ahmad said in a telephonic chat with Something Haute. “The script and the director are the two main reasons why I signed this film.”

The actor also revealed that he always wanted to do a project with Asim Raza and finally when a year ago he was made the offer, it lead to a yes. He also added that he’s a fan of the writer. “Imran Aslam is the writer and I’ve always been a fan of his work, especially Rozi starring Moin Akhtar.”

Without wanting to reveal much about the character, Ahmad revealed that he plays the lead’s friend.

“I  do not want to give away the story, but I play Sheheryar’s best friend in the movie,” the actor said. “He is a street-smart, upbeat, peppy and emotional character.”

Ahmad was also quick to comment on Maya Ali, who has been cast opposite Sheheryar.

“Maya brings charisma and huge following while Sheheryar is equally talented and good-looking,” Ahmad said. “They are beautiful people and make a beautiful onscreen pair!”

Paray Hut Love is scheduled to release on Eid-ul-Azha 2019, and the first spell of the film has been shot in Islamabad and Azad Kashmir. The next will be done in Turkey, Bahawalpur and Karachi.
