With the much-anticipated animated film Allahyar and the Legend of Markhor close to its release, the team behind the project has just released its official trailer.

Narrating the story of Allahyar and his endangered animal companions, the film trailer meanders through the tale of their friendship, the trials they face, and of course, raising awareness of the flora and fauna heritage of Pakistan and poachers. Although the trailer does not give much away apart from it being a fight against wrongs, it brilliantly ties up funny antics and a smart storyline as we find new heroes in the shape of Allahyar, Mehru, and Hero!

The film also boasts some major celeb names attached to the project as well, such as Ali Noor, Ali Rehman Khan, Azfar Jafri and, Natasha Humera Ejaz, who will be seen as voice-over actors for the major characters in the animation.

Previously, Head of 3rd World Studios, Uzair Zaheer Khan revealed that ‘the story intended to highlight the – often neglected, aspects of Mother nature and the role of humans in conserving nature.’

With the release of Allahyar and the Legend of Markhor on February 2nd, will it fare well in front of other films? Time will tell…

Check out the trailer here and tell us what you think!
