Amitabh Bachchan is a legend; that everyone knows. But he’s also got a fantastic sense of humour which probably not everyone knows.

He is also the only actor of his generation who writes a blog every day (he’s recently completed 10 years of blogging) and is very, very active on Twitter. Speaking of Twitter, Amitabh has had several tiffs with the social media platform.  Take a look at this tweet, for instance:

He was clearly not happy after he lost nearly 60,000 followers and went from being the most followed Bollywood celebrity on Twitter to being the second most followed Bollywood celebrity on Twitter, losing the top spot to Shah Rukh Khan.

That became such a big deal that a group of Twitter employees actually flew down to Mumbai all the way from San Francisco to explain to him how that had happened.

But all isn’t well, yet again. Today, Amitabh tweeted that he isn’t happy with his followers not increasing. “Dear Twitter Management, it’s quite amazing how you manage to keep numbers of followers constant and not moving at all despite maximum activity??? Well done! I mean how do you keep the score board from not moving despite every ball being hit for a 6!”

We are yet to see how Twitter will respond this time.

However, it’s not just Twitter that makes him upset. Big B also has a problem with people who don’t respond to his SMS texts.

Meet Anushka Sharma who turned a year older on Tuesday. Almost everyone from the Hindi film industry sent her birthday wishes. However, it was Amitabh Bachchan’s tweet that caught our attention. The megastar took to Twitter and said, “@AnushkaSharma .. Anushka .. this is Amitabh Bachchan @Srbachchan .. wished you on May 1st via sms .. no response .. checked they said you changed number .. sent greetings again .. love and wishes .. you looked radiant at the IPL game last night”.

Anushka was quick to respond.

Yet it was Big B’s cuteness that caught our attention once again!

But apparently, Anushka isn’t the only Bollywood celebrity who didn’t respond to Amitabh’s brithday wish via SMS. Sonam Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Akshay Kumar, Shilpa Shetty and Preity Zinta were also reprimanded by Big B.

Sonam apologized and tweeted back, “Oh my god sir!! I didn’t get it!! I always reply!! Thank you so much! I got @juniorbachchan message I’m so so sorry.

Akshay made the same mistake.

So did Ranveer.

To this, Ranveer replied, “Except that I TOTALLY replied! I just cross-checked it too! You were, in fact, one of the first to even wish! And it’s the little things like these, that make you THE GREATEST OF ALL TIME !!! #bachchan #GOAT I’m blessed that you even know I exist!”

And Preity:

Let’s hope no one else messes with him.
