After returning to solo songs with rock track ‘12 Bajay’ in December, Atif Aslam is back to singing romantic ballads but this time it is about heartbreak. In a new single by T-series – ‘Baarishein‘ – Atif Aslam sings and stars in the video alongside Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety famed actress Nushrat Bharucha.
Written and composed by Arko, the track features the two as estranged lovers. Atif looks back at the memories of their time together and croons a heartbreak song, reliving the anguish of a relationship that is no longer in a happy space.

The song begins with dramatic piano and violin notes followed by Atif’s soothing vocals. The song released yesterday, just a day before Valentine’s Day, effectively capturing the essence of love that sometimes ends up in long lost romance or broken hearts. The beautiful video has been shot in Los Angeles by director David Zennie.
