First look of Ay Musht-e-Khaak introduces Feroze Khan & Sana Javed’s characters

The hit jodi of Feroze Khan and Sana Javed is all set to return to the small screens with Geo Entertainment’s upcoming drama serial, Ay Musht-e-Khaak. After the first look of the drama that introduced both their characters through official posters, now the channel also unveiled short teasers to reveal more about them.

Feroze will be essaying the role of Mustajab Ahmed, a rich boy who does not believe in God. He, however, is not an atheist and through experiences in life, finds his way back and reconnects. Sana will be seen as Dua, and is shown as an innocent girl on the poster.

The first look teasers introduced us to a very meticulous Mustajab who is a go-getter. His idea of love isn’t what we see in most romance stories and hence his love story won’t be a cliché too.

Mustajab voice over points out what we can expect in this drama: “It’s not a game of love between us but a conflict of perspectives and theory. It is a war of victory and defeat and wars are merciless. I am impatient when I get involved in something and I believe everything that happens in life requires planning. I did all that was possible to get to her and if she wants to turn this relationship into a war then let me know; Mustajab Ahmed isn’t accustomed to losing.”

 

 

On the other hand, Sana Javed as Dua can be in seen in a Sufi avatar, twirling in trance with her voice in the backgroud reciting:

Mein mein na rahun, tum tum na raho

Nazroun mein rahe manzil ka nishan

Talwun pe lahu ko behne dou

ye khel anaa ka khel nahin

ye dar-badri ka sauda hai

Tou aao hum ye teh ker lein

The clips shows their contrasting personalities where one believes in destiny, fate and God’s supreme authority over everything while the other isn’t quite convinced yet. Ay Musht-e-Khaak translates as ‘a handful of dust’ in English. It is directed by Aehsun Talish and written by Maha Malik, while it is produced by Abdullah Kadwani and Asad Qureshi under the banner of 7th Sky Entertainment.

Feroze Khan’s first look has received over 2 million views in three days while Sana’s video has garnered one million views in the same time. The official description reads “an exclusive look at our upcoming star-studded drama serial featuring a compelling tale of love, passion and deception.”

The cast includes Asad Siddiqui, Shabbir Jan, Shahood Alvi, Iffat Omar, Sadaf Ashan, Ayesha Gul, Shajeer Uddin, Namra Shahid, Danial Afzal, Shiza, Hira Umer, Ellie Zaid, Shah Jee.

Feroze was recently seen in Khuda Aur Muhabbat 3 that broke multiple records on YouTube while Sana was last seen in a much-debated role in Dunk. Both actors have received immense praise for their recent roles and they share amazing onscreen chemistry as seen earlier in Khaani that won many awards.
