After a huge uproar from the Pakistani film industry and the audiences, the ban on Na Maloom Afraad 2 has been taken back after it was instated a day ago.

The Government of The Punjab Information and Culture Department, on behalf of Punjab Censor Board, stated that the film was ‘re-examined’ after which the ban was revoked. The circular also stated that ‘no scene/dialogue was found vulgar in the film under consideration.’

The recently released circular.

The news comes after a confusing decision by the Punjab Censor Board, which had stated that Na Maloom Afraad 2 was being banned due to ‘persistent complaints from different quarters.’ This lead to the team behind the film to keep a press conference at the Karachi Press Club against the decision.

With all said and done, we’re just glad that the controversial move has been revoked and fans of Pakistani cinema can rejoice with good quality content once again without having to look at Bollywood for entertainment.
