Seems like the gora complex isn’t just limited to Asians (we can’t deny the obsession south Asians and Koreans have with white skin). Beyonce’s wax figure at Madame Tussauds is the perfect example of this white phobia; she looks fifty shades lighter and it’s not flattering.

Beyoncé’s wax figure at Madame Tussauds in New York has no resemblance to the real-life Queen Bey and that has caused a great debate/controversy over social media.

As soon as the picture was shared on Twitter it was followed by a severe backlash.

You’d barely recognise her at Madame Tussauds and fans are not at all happy about it. In response to critics, Madame Tussauds backed the work of its wax sculptors Wednesday afternoon stating, “At Madame Tussauds, our talented team of sculptors take every effort to ensure we accurately colour match all of our wax figures to the celebrity being depicted. Lighting within the attraction combined with flash photography may distort and misrepresent the colour of our wax figures which is something our sculptors are unable to account for at the production stage.”

Well, in this light she looks more like Mariah Carey or Shakira and that’s something that should concern her. Beyonce’s not the first one to be unlucky with wax figures but given her popularity and status within the industry, she should ask for a re-sculpt.
