Mahira Khan and Bilal Ashraf previously came together for Superstar directed by Ehteshamuddin. The chemistry between the lead pair, Mahira Khan as Noor Malik and Bilal Ashraf as Sameer Khan was well received and therefore, the two have once again teamed up for an upcoming project.
According to social media reports circulating since yesterday, Bilal Ashraf and Mahira Khan are pairing up again for a new project, titled General Nigar, and it is also reported that it is an ISPR project.
While official details have not been revealed yet, the project seems to be a biopic on General Nigar Johar Khan.
In June 2020, Major General Nigar Johar became Pakistan’s first female officer to be promoted to the rank of lieutenant general. In a tweet, the ISPR said that the officer had also been appointed as the first female surgeon general of the Pakistan Army.
