Bilal Ashraf and his inner ‘Rockstar’

The much-awaited film Rangreza is scheduled to release this month, and the cast and crew are in film promotion mode with full throttle! While the film’s complete soundtrack was released earlier, we are now getting glimpses into the film via their song videos. The title track’s video was released yesterday and we saw Bilal Ashraf channeling his inner rockstar in it.

Showing the actor as a singer, Ali Zain, in the midst of a high-octane concert, Bilal is trying to adapt the broody angry young man role, albeit not all of it is convincing enough. The song reminds us of ‘Jo Bhi Main’ from Rockstar, while its video is similar to ‘Nadaan Parindey’ from the same film.

 

 

His apt execution of a hurt musician managed to bag Ranbir Kapoor 8 awards for Rockstar! How far will Bilal Ashraf be able to ace this role? Time will tell!
