With three major films hitting the screens in less than a week, it seems Ali Zafar’s Pakistani debut, Teefa, might be in trouble soon.

While the film has managed to break a number of previously set records over the month with a collection of more than PKR 35 Crore at the domestic market, the trio of films – Jawani Phir Nahi Aani 2, Load Wedding, and Parwaaz Hai Junoon – that will be released in a week have already been alotted major screens through multiplexes.

On the other hand, despite high occupation numbers, Teefa’s screen allotting will be reduced to half its numbers, according to sources.

That said until the week ends, there does seem to be good news in the offing for the Maya Ali film, though. If sources are to be believed, the film has remained unstoppable in its 4th week with a collection of 85 Lac approx. just on Independence Day. Overall, the collection has remained at PKR 4 Crores in the week.

Given the film’s run on the high side for a month now, will it suffer in the hands of the upcoming ensemble films? Signs point to a yes.
