Eid has just passed and everything that’s associated to the festive occasion has a tendency to evoke nostalgia. From pre-Eid preparations, chaand raat shenanigans to the three-day frenzy, everything rekindles our fondest memories and takes us back to the time that we most cherish. Bisconni introduced its new assortment ‘Craving’ around the same time with a campaign that is bound to strike a sentimental chord and revive this #mehaktiyaadonkamaza.

The celebratory occasion of Eid is synonymous with family get together, lavish soirees and dinners and a time to rejoice with closed ones. With the fast pace of city life, many traditions have changed or diminished and thus we don’t get to enjoy those days of yore again. But if you cannot create new memories, you can at least revive the best ones and Bisconni attempted the same by sending sweet giveaways of Bisconni Craving to some of our favourite celebrities. The aroma of these delicious cookies worked wonders and took them down a memory lane.

Iqra Aziz reminisced the Eid days when she and her sister used to get excited for getting those new Eidi notes from her late father. “Eid immediately reminds me of my dad and all those precious memories with him. Once he cooked delicious biryani for us and it was the best biryani I have ever had,” the actress recalled.

Osman Khalid Butt shared that he always yearns for family time on Eid as due to hectic schedule he hardly gets time to be at his home in Islamabad.

“Eid reminds me about waking up early and going for Eid prayers with my dad and brother, my sister making the traditional siwaiyyan for us and an intimate family lunch which was always a time for family bonding,” Osman said.

What do children and elders love alike? Most definitely cookies as they are the best snack and of course sweet delights for tea time. Thus cookies will always be a favourite munchy to nibble on and celebrities also think the same. These cookies reminded Ramsha Khan of her all the chaand raats we spent with her siblings and cousins.

“This just took me down a memory lane to those chaand raat moments I used to spend with my mom and siblings,” the actress said while promising that she would definitely try to have fun this Eid like old days.

Ali Rehman Khan said the Bisconni Craving smells like home and a lot of Eid memories rushed back as soon as he opened the box. “We used to have this grand breakfast at my daadi’s house every Eid, where all of the family would get together and have an amazing time. Even though my daadi isn’t with us anymore, but we have kept the tradition alive and we still gather at my daadi’s house every Eid,” Ali said recalling the bittersweet moments.

Wahaj Ali had so much to share about his childhood Eid memories. “I used to go for Eid prayers with my dad and always gave him a tight Eid hug then hangout with my friends later to spend all our Eidi on food,” he said.

For Komal Aziz Khan, Eid is always about celebration, fun and food. “I’m a big foodie so I go to everyone’s house and eat their speciality and lots of desserts,” she said.

Have you tried Bisconni Craving? If yes, then what let us know what cherished memories did you recall?
