From the vast green fields of Punjab to the barren valleys of Balochistan, Patari Tabeer has taken us on a journey of the country like no one else. Now, in its fifth edition, we travel to the land of the Shiv, Lal, and Bhittai, Sindh for a song that is ethereal in all its senses. Tabeer brings us ‘Sajan Moi Kay Yaad Payo’.

The aural sensation of the 5000-year-old clay flute, burrindo, along with the unusual but befitting collaboration between a Hindu shrine singer, a music teacher and his student with the maestros of contemporary music, the Sketches create yet another brilliant song in the series of hits Patari has created.

The song may have mixed one singer too many, however the soothing ethos of the song can make even the naysayers accept the sheer serenity of ‘Sajan Moi Kay Yaad Payo’. However, what truly makes the song stand in a league of its own is the fact that none of the singers had ever met or collaborated before this and yet ended up crooning in perfect sync.

If you haven’t heard the song yet, please do your ears a favour and listen to it right now here:
