Brother of musician-cum-actor Ali Zafar, Danyal Zafar entered the pop music scene of Pakistan in 2017 with his Coke Studio number Muntazir that he sang alongside Momina Mustehsan. Later, the singer appeared in TV commercials as a model but after a hiatus of almost two years, Danyal is back with his debut single and title track from his long-in-the-works album, Ek Aur Ek 3.

Danyal’s first song is full of experiments musically and visually. He taps into a quirky genre with a different sound and a psychedelic look. Abdullah Haris directed the single-take music video which also features Hania Aamir. We see Danyal playing all the instruments such as keyboard, drums and guitars on loop, one after the other, in a unique fusion. The quirky song with a 70s rock vibe also changes musical scales, transitioning from upbeat notes to qawwali smoothly.
