Remixing classics is currently the hot trend in Bollywood and while many times the songs end up being a torture to the ears, we’ll have to admit, we’re kinda liking this one already.

Dharmendra’s upcoming film Yamla Pagla Deewana: Phir Se features the iconic song ‘Rafta Rafta Dekho’ starring Dharmendra and Rekha from the film Kahani Kismat Ki and several other Bollywood hits including ‘O Mere Sona Re’, ‘Salaam-E-Ishq’ and ‘Main Jat Yamla Pagla’.

The video of this medley begins with Dharmendra and Salman Khan lip-syncing popular dialogues from each other’s films and then Sonakshi Sinha joins them, dancing to the beats of ‘O Mere Sona Re’ along with father, Shatrughan Sinha who also has a cameo.

Rekha’s presence in the song is undoubtedly the highlight as she gracefully dances to  ‘Salaam-E-Ishq’  from Mukaddar Ka Sikander and delivers some iconic dialogues. The medley ends with the entry of Sunny and Bobby Deol, who are joined by Dharmendra, Salman, Rekha, Sonakshi on the dance floor, grooving to ‘Main Jat Yamla Pagla Deewana’.

For those who have grown up watching Bollywood movies, this song is a total treat and will definitely make it to their list of shaadi/mehndi dance songs for sure!

Talking about his experience of filming the song, Dharmendra in an interview to IANS said: “I think it is my karma that whenever I call anybody from the industry, they associate themselves with us. Whenever I need somebody, the entire industry is there for me.”

“Salman himself is very good human being. I love him. He is a wonderful and genuine person and Sonakshi is like my daughter.”

Yamla Pagla Deewana: Phir Se is the third instalment of the Yamla Pagla Deewana series featuring the father-son trio – Dharmendra, Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol. Directed by Navaniat Singh, the film is set to release on August 31.
