Bollywood actor Sushmita Sen’s New Year celebrations brought a surprise for Pakistani singer turned actor Danyal Zafar. Sushmita recently took to Instagram and shared a video in which she is enjoying Danyal’s song — Udh Chaliye — with her daughter during a fun car ride.

She thanked her friend for introducing her to the song, as well as credited Danyal and tagged him in the post.

“The breeze, the drive, the open skies and Alisah’s favourite song on repeat,” Sushmita wrote. “Thank you, Rohit Bhatkar, for introducing us to this song.”

Such an important mention didn’t go unnoticed by Danyal, who commented on Sushmita’s shoutout. He expressed his happiness and excitement to receive praise on his music. And this led to a sweet exchange between the young musician and the former Miss Universe.

In response, Danyal wrote:

To which the Bollywood actor replied with lots of heart emojis: “The man himself! What a beautiful message, forever cherished, jaan meri [my dear]. Your voice and this song make the heart vibe. It is a blessing to have the power to connect people and their dreams beyond geography! Masha Allah Stay wonderful.”

Every time, there is some cross-border celebrity engagement, it ignites more love in the fans of artists and reaffirms our faith that arts has no borders. Similarly, Danyal also loved the appreciation and showed mutual respect and admiration.
