Shamoon Abbasi’s directorial venture Durj is a film that is said to be based on true events and the trailer presents us an insight into a story about a cannibal. While the teasers were released a while back, the trailer is also out now giving the viewers a better idea of what the film will be about.

The trailer opens with a statement that says, “The following content that you are about to watch is based on true events occurred in Pakistan.”

Shamoon himself plays a very convincing cannibal who lives with his love interest, played by Sherry Shah. Full of blood, terror and gruesome scenes, the trailer promises a film that hasn’t been made in Pakistan before. The trailer looks interesting — opening with a case of a missing person, and ending at a grave — with a lot happening in between.

Directed and written by Shamoon Abbasi, Durj also stars Maira Khan and Nauman Javaid in important roles. Its release date is yet to be announced.
