Fashion powerhouse Élan has launched a series of capsules back to back ranging from prêt wear to silk ensembles, each one featuring a unique style element to broaden the fashion horizon. The brand has taken us into a serene realm this time with their latest Indigène collection. Inspired by polished craftsmanship and fine tailoring, the range brings together native design elements such as gota work, kingri, block print, luxe tassles, and intricate lace details over a modish silhouette.

The colour palette of the capsule is kept simple yet sophisticated with pastel hues. The range not just boasts of kurtas but also elegant pant separates and timeless dupattas that can be worn year around.

Ivory and gold is an everlasting pretty combination and Indigène has two style separates to offer in the shade. Screen printed with abstract motifs and adorned with delicate gilded embroidery, ‘Chambeli’ is a handloom shirt which is paired with block printed flared palazzos. You can also get your hands on ‘Ashnah’ is another option with geometrical patterns and gota flower buttons.

We particularly noticed this beautiful shade of lilac due to an exquisite fringe trim on its sleeves and luxe gota buttons. This ‘Masakali’ dress with gold foliage motifs has a vintage vibe and is an ideal ensemble to gift someone.

‘Alaleh’ is a whimsical take on a kurta with dark grey base, printed with gold/silver stripes and florals. It also has 3D embroidered butterflies to add quirk to interesting coin details. Pair this shirt with oxidized jewellery and an embellished khussa to amp up the traditional look.

For those of us who are always on a look out for fresh details over a minimalistic design, ‘Koyal’ is a sure shot hit. The chevron patterned shirt has a pale mint base with flying gold birds screen printed over it. You will notice unique trappings over its shoulders, fused with threadwork and gota tassels. With matching sharara pants and a cream striped dupatta, this is a striking outfit to own.
