Farhan Saeed has many hits to his credit and his fame knows no boundaries. The Sunno Chanda star has released his latest track titled ‘Maula in collaboration with British-Indian music producer Rishi Rich and while the song has received mixed reviews, Farhan terms the collaboration a “great experience.

“It was a great experience working with Rishi Rich,” Farhan told Something Haute. “I was recording Thori Dair for Mohit Suri’s Half Girlfriend when he made me meet Rishi. We sat in the studio and recorded this song in less than an hour and he loved the composition.”

“After a total of three hours, we were done with the song,” he added. “The best part was that he didn’t leave his sound and I didn’t leave mine. I had my composition and he said the main idea is to do a fusion of both the sounds together. It was kind of an experiment and I hope people will like it.”

Talking about the inspiration behind Maula, Farhan revealed that he made this composition a long time back and when Rishi asked him if he has a song in mind, he just sang this to him. “Rishi asked me to record it for him and the idea was to fuse two different sounds, two different styles. To be original and be able to offer something new to your fans makes me really happy.”

As for future projects, he said there’s a lot to look forward to. “Music has no boundaries and that’s great! Looking forward to more collaborations, especially between the artists on both sides of the border,” he said.
