Here’s what to expect from Fashion Pakistan Week Spring/Summer 2019

Fashion Pakistan Council (FPC) is all set to showcase Fashion Pakistan Week (FPW) Spring/Summer edition the coming week. The event will kick off on March 12 and will conclude on March 14, bringing forth promising Pakistani fashion.

Directed and choreographed by Nubain Ali, FPW encompasses a diverse range of acclaimed designers along with fresh talent. There is always a lot of anticipation and hype surrounding fashion weeks for new collections exploring the best of retail, prêt, luxury prêt and menswear designs.

Here’s a low down of what’s in store in the upcoming FPW…

Day One of the fashion exhibit is dedicated solely to Pakistan’s finest designer duo, Sana Safinaz as they will be showcasing a solo exhibition on the opening day. Generation, Yasmin Zaman, Nauman Arfeen, Gul Ahmed, Obaid Sheikh, AlKaram, Boheme by Kanwal and Sania Maskatiya will rule the runway on Day Two.

This will be followed by a display of the latest summer bridal trends by Nomi Ansari, Huma Adnan, Amir Adnan, Saira*Shakira, Zainab Chottani, The Pink Tree Company and Tena Durrani.


Fashion Pakistan Week


FPW Spring/Summer edition will be a season of many firsts as the show has been shifted to an outdoor venue.

“The Council and I are delighted to announce the first Fashion Week of the season. With a strong line-up of designers showcasing their fabulous new collections, spectacular couture and bridal designs, there’s a fantastic 3 days of fashion in store for everyone.  I’m looking forward to welcoming everyone to FPW – S/S ’19 – a season set to be one of the most exciting yet,” said Deepak Perwani (Chairperson of Fashion Pakistan Council) in a statement.
