Sinf-e-Aahan, the drama serial exploring the lives of female cadets training in Pakistani Military Academy, is nearing its end. According to media reports, Sinf-e-Aahan’s finale will be screened in cinemas across Pakistan after Eid ul Fitr.

Starring some of the biggest female actors of Pakistan namely Sajal Aly, Yumna Zaidi, Kubra Khan, Ramsha Khan and Syra Yousuf alongside others, the drama airs on ARY Digital. The network recently aired the 19th episode and it seems that only a few episodes are left to get aired until Eid.

The common idea is that joining the forces is mainly a male-centric profession. When boys want to join the army, their parents see that as a source of pride. However, it is not the same for the girls.

The drama aims to break that stereotype by showing girls from different social, cultural and religious backgrounds shed the perceived weaknesses imposed by society. It also features supporting male characters played by Ali Rehman Khan, Usman Mukhtar, Asim Azhar, Sheheryar Munawar that help along the way.

Social media sensation Dananeer Mobeen, model Merub Ali as well as Sri Lankan actress actress Yehali Tashiya are also a part of the drama.

Sinf e Aahan features women embracing their strength. It represents the transformation of women who are usually called Sinf-e-Naazuk [the delicate class] to Sinf-e-Aahan [the iron-willed class] i.e. women of steel. And we will get to see these empowered women in their glory on the big screen soon!

Penned by Umera Ahmed and directed by Nadeem Baig, Sinf e Aahan has been produced by Samina Humayun Saeed and Sana Shahnawaz of Next Level Entertainment, along with Humayun Saeed and Shahzad Nasib of Six Sigma Plus. The drama has been produced in association with the ISPR.

Details about the premiere will be released soon.
