After the success of Mehreen Jabbar’s Ek Jhoothi Love Story, everyone is waiting eagerly to find out which, out of the remaining three Pakistani series, will release next on Zee5. We have Saba Qamar and Naumaan Ijaz’s Man Joggi, Bilal Abbas and Sarah Khan’s Abdullahpur Ka Devdas and Sajal Aly and Ahad Raza Mir’s Dhoop Ki Deewar. Though the release dates are not out yet, Indian producer Shailja Kejriwal has recently hinted that fans only have to wait a little more for Dhoop Ki Deewar.
She took to Twitter to tease fans with a few behind-the-scene shots from Sajal Aly and Ahad Raza Mir’s upcoming web series on Zee5.
“Dekhein set pe kitna kaam ho raha hai! Straight from the sets of Dhoop Ki Deewar! Ab ki baar thoda intezaar!” she wrote with pictures of the two lead actors from the sets.

Written by renowned drama writer, Umera Ahmed and directed by Haseeb Hassan, Dhoop Ki Deewar is set against the backdrop of Kashmir and Pulwama attacks, the script is inspired by true events. It includes a heart-rending narrative of people who lost their loved ones during war time, including what families and kids of martyred army officers and jawaans go through on both sides of the border.

The series follows the story of two teenagers whose lives change forever overnight. Ahad will be playing an Indian boy while Sajal is going to be a girl from Pakistan. It has an all-star cast including Samiya Mumtaz, Samina Ahmed, Savera Nadeem, Manzar Sehbai, Adnan Jaffer, Zara Tareen, Paras Masroor, Hammad Siddiqui, Ainy Zaidi, Salma Hasan and Lubna Aslam. Raza Talish of Suno Chanda 2 fame will be seen as a Pakistani captain.
