There are very few boutiques that make one feel as giddy as the Body Focus Museum. The designer label is known for its distinct and contemporary designs and silhouettes. Also, BFM has exclusivity and it’s very unlikely that you’ll ever end up seeing five different women wearing the same BFM outfit as you. Which is why when we heard that the label is having an amazing sale, we couldn’t stop ourselves from flocking to their P.E.C.H.S studio, braving the traffic on Shahra-e-Faisal thanks to IDEAS 2016 being held at the Expo Centre.

Entering the studio, we were greeted by a magical emporium of every colour and style that you could think of. Silk tunics in bright shades of magenta, ochre and tangerine hung together. On a rack right besides it, the designer had displayed her creative aesthetic and knowledge of fabric with an entire collection of different denims and chambray. We ended up indulging in a gorgeous long chambray tunic ourselves!

The sale is really something to talk about. Originally priced at Rs.8,400, we ended up paying Rs.5,100 for a chambray tunic, which is a steal considering the durability of the fabric and of course, Iman’s design. Everything on display had unbelievable prices and it was quite a struggle to restrict yourself to just one piece.

The collection literally has something for everyone. There are classic, embroidered pieces in chiffon and organza as well as cotton tunics mastered to perfection with creative hems and gorgeous drapes. There was an entire collection of sharply tailored wrap-around jackets and tunics, one of which could also be seen on Iman herself but of course, her impeccable waistline can carry anything with ease. Printed linen and silk pants also dominated the collection.

Iman herself revealed that the point of this avid display of variety was to show to her clientele that BFM can delve into a little bit of everything, and she managed to do just that beautifully. The sale is still on for a few more days so you should probably hurry to the studio as fast as you can.
