Our fierce hauteliers, we’re off once again into the magical and mythical land of stardom, a place of unhealthy obsessions and eyestrain. But who cares? We do. There’s nothing we love more than digging deep into dress design to see what themes, silhouettes and motifs we can term hideous and what we can constitute acceptable with our much coveted haute stamp.

So, let’s start this week by yelling our delightfully funny comments at celebrities for failing us in some ways or another.

Urwa Hocane

This is probably one of the most ill fitted looks of the group and that’s probably not even the worst part about it. The skirt looks way too wilted for anybody’s sanity and the sleeves look like an afterthought.

Cringing at the backless, hun! It looks like your iron burnt a hole in the back of your dress and you cut a hole around it to make it look like fashion. We expect better. ❌

Resham

We understand this might have been part of your contract, but take it from us; a good lawyer goes a long way. It could have been a bit more tolerable if the waist details were just not there; this outfit looks like something you wear under your clothes. And the hair could have been a bit sleeker. ❌

Ayesha Sana

Is it just us or doesn’t she look like she just locked Cinderella in the tower? We hate this look for being as basic and boring as it can be, but at least she tried doing something with the styling of it. Sadly this is just tragic. ❌

Mehwish Hayat

It’s exciting because Miss Ladystar is definitely good at one thing and that is to keep us on our feet; she’ll walk out owning the carpet like she did a month back in her Sania Maskatiya lavender gown or she’ll slap us across the face with this potato sack corset legging number. We can’t get over the granny shoes either. Keep up the mind games, we love them as much as we love you! ❌

Sadaf Fawad Khan

Casual chic is your temple and we’re all set to worship. There is nothing we love more than style that is effortless and cool. Miss SFK, we’re keeping an eye on you. ✅

Kiran Malik

A lot can be learnt from Kiran Malik; she can teach our Lady Stars about how a star needs to look and how to shine on the carpet even with a colour as basic as white. We know that is not an easy job.

Good job Miss Kiran for keeping it classy! ✅
