From Chaiyya Chaiyya to Munni Badnaam and Anarkali Disco Chali, Malaika Arora is certainly the undisputed queen of item numbers. After a long gap, the diva is back with her thumkas in a special song titled Hello Hello from the film Pataakha.

Malaika is a hot favourite when it comes to songs that require an extra level of oomph and sex appeal. Even if the song fails lyrically or composition-wise, her moves help keep the viewers captivated.

Hello Hello is a dance number sung by Rekha Bhardwaj and composed by the film’s director Vishal Bhardwaj. Lyricist Gulzar has written the lyrics for the song and Ganesh Acharya has choreographed it. Featuring a carnival-like setting, Malaika is the only highlight of the video.

The video opens with a conversation between the lead pair concerning job possibility at the telephone authority, following which Malaika makes an entry.

Talking about the song, Malaika earlier said, “Who could refuse a number sung by Rekha ji, written by Gulzar Saab with the music being given by Vishal Bhardwaj? And when you have Ganesh choreographing you, there can be nothing better. I was instantly in love with the peppy number.”

Pataakha is based on a short story by renowned writer Charan Singh Pathik. Also featuring Sunil Grover and Vijay Raaz, the movie is all set to hit the screens on September 28.
