With only 10 days left in the grand wedding of Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, preparations are in full swing. The bride and groom have been frequently travelling to fulfill all their professional commitments before the nuptials. However, the Padmaavat actress is especially taking out time for family engagements and bridal shopping.
A recent report in Filmfare suggests that the bride-to-be has shopped for one of the most important bridal accessories; her jewellery and mangalsutra. The actress went to choose her mangalsutra in Mumbai on a pre-informed visit because of which the store was shut in advance. Reportedly, Deepika’s mangalsutra costs INR 20 lacs and has a huge solitaire in it, while the rest of her wedding jewellery is worth a whooping INR one crore. Deepika also bought a 200gm gold chain for her husband-to-be, Ranveer Singh.
On November 2nd, their wedding rituals started with a Nandi Puja held in Deepika’a Bangalore residence, followed by a haldi ceremony. The duo’s highly intimate wedding will take place in Villa del Balbianello at Lake Como on November 14 and 15.
