With the much-anticipated film Rangreza releasing a number of well-done compositions, it’s no surprise that people are hooked on its track-list. However, if you thought that they were done, the latest track from the film will change your mind!

Releasing a Qawwali titled ‘Janasheen’ – which is paying homage to the maestro Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan – the soulful vocals by Qurram Hussain take inspiration from Nusrat’s ethereal ‘Allah Hoo’ and do a beautiful job.

Although no video accompanies the recently released song, one could imagine this being set on none other than the ever-popular Waseem Walay, Gohar Rasheed. That being said, we wouldn’t be surprised if this turns out to be a romantic montage showcasing Urwa Hocane and Bilal Ashraf’s on-screen chemistry.

Adding another feat to the already brimming music from Rangreza, ‘Janasheen’ is a definite ode to the traditions and culture of the region.

Rangreza is slated to release on December 21 and stars Urwa Hocane, Bilal Ashraf, and Gohar Rasheed in pivotal roles.
