Jemima Goldsmith is all set to produce a romantic comedy, titled What’s Love Got To With It? This marks her narrative feature debut.

Written and produced by Jemima, the film will also mark Shekar Kapur’s directorial return since his 2007 Oscar-winning production Elizabeth: The Golden Age. He is widely known for directing Bollywood superhit Mr India and producing Dil Se. Lily James, Shazad Latif, and Emma Thompson are set to star in the rom-com.

 

“It’s taken 10 years & a million drafts to get here, but it was worth the wait as (Covid/God/Sod willing) I now get to work with all these legends. I am so bloody excited. And terrified,” shared Jemima, a British TV, film and documentary producer and founder of Instinct Productions, a television production company.

 

 

Also, co-producing the film are Nicky Kentish Barnes (About A Boy) alongside Working Title’s Eric Fellner and Tim Bevan.

According to a report by the Deadline,  plot details are being kept under wraps, however, the film is said to be a cross-cultural rom-com revolving around love and marriage and is set between London and South Asia.

While a release date has not been announced, the shooting for the film, What’s Love Got To With It? begins next month.
