There is a lot of curiosity surrounding the upcoming drama, Neeli Zinda Hai; the title of the project itself gained massive attention as soon as it was announced. Directed by Qasim Ali Mureed, the horror/thriller stars Sana Javed, Mohib Mirza, Sonia Mishal, and Jenaan Hussain in prominent roles.
The very versatile, yet underrated actor, Jenaan Hussain recently revealed her look from the upcoming project that intrigued the followers to find out more about her role. “NAGINA…. NEELI ZINDA HAI,” she captioned the post revealing the name of her character.

Speaking exclusively to Something Haute, Jenaan Hussain shared a few details about her character in the drama. “It’s a very difficult and important character,” she said adding that she cannot reveal the details to maintain the mystery. “It’s a horror story, however, even as the story moves forward, you won’t be able to tell if I’m a horror element in the play or just another human being.”
“I play a Bengali girl. Although she’s not completely Bengali,” she told. Clarifying further, Jenaan added that Nagina is born and bred in Pakistan so she only has a few Bengali elements in her personality. “She wears saris and all,” she explained.

“This girl comes to their house with a purpose but no one knows if she’s human or not,” she concluded making us even more curious to find out more.
Judging from her previous work, we can be sure that she’d add magic to this unconventional character. The audience has seen the actor play both positive and negative characters, and she’s managed to do justice to both.
