JPNA 2 becomes Pakistan’s first film to earn over 70 crores

One of the most successful films in recent years, Jawani Phir Nahi Ani 2 (JPNA 2) has continually created buzz. The comedy film which had crossed the 60-crore mark last year is now officially Pakistan’s highest grossing film with global box office business of 70 crores.

Lead actor of the film, Humayun Saeed shared the news on Twitter. “Happy that #JPNA2 continues to entertain all of you. Thank you for all the love!” he tweeted.

CEO of ARY Jerjees Seja also shared the news on his Instagram.

“News alert! The biggest blockbuster of all time #JPNA2 becomes the first ever Pakistani movie to cross Rs.70 Crores at the Global box office!”

Last year when the film reached a benchmark, we reached out to director Nadeem Baig and he said,

“Our goal is to entertain the audience whether it’s through comedy, romance or drama. The success of our films has given us the assurance that perhaps we are on the right track as far as choosing the premise of the movie is concerned.”
