While attending ‘Vogue We the Women’ summit in Bengaluru India, Sonam K. Ahuja talked about the #MeToo movement, Tanushree Dutta’s allegations and Queen director Vikas Bahl. The Veere Di Wedding star said that she was appalled and disgusted to read what the woman — who was harassed by Vikas Bahl — had to go through.

Indian journalist Barkha Dutt asked Sonam what she thought will be the industry’s reaction and if or not they will take a stand against the acclaimed director, to which Sonam responded that Kangana has commented about Bahl but sometimes, it is difficult to take her seriously.

“I mean Kangana obviously is Kangana Ranaut and she says a lot of stuff and sometimes it is hard to take her seriously but I love that she has spunk and she says what she believes. And I really respect her for that,” Sonam said.

Kangana later lashed out at Sonam saying she had no right to judge her when she is telling her #MeToo story. “So, Sonam has the license of trusting some women and some she won’t? What makes her so unsure of my claims, I am known to be an articulate person,” she said in response to Sonam’s comment.

Kangana went on to say that she is taken as a youth influencer and invited to summits because she has earned the place and credibility, not because of her dad. “She [Sonam] is not known to be a good actress, neither she has the reputation of being a good speaker. What gives these filmy people right to take digs at me! I will demolish each one of them,” she added.
