Relations may have always been tense between the two neighboring arch-rivals India and Pakistan, but it seems finally some thawing is in the offing – at least from Bollywood’s side.
In a recent interview with the press, Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut – who has often been coined ‘anti-Pakistan’ – surprised the media when she softened the stance on Pakistan and commented that she was full of hope because of Imran Khan.
“Hopefully, we can only hope that we shed no more blood,” Kangana said. “It’s unfortunate that our soldiers are dying. But, the kind of speech Mr. Imran Khan has given is very nice and I wish him all the best and with folded hands, I appeal, that we have a beautiful relationship.”
