Following its successful run in Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad earlier this year, one of the most-anticipated food platforms is now returning to the cultural hub of Pakistan, Lahore. So Lahoris, it’s time to show your love for food as Lahore Eat Festival is scheduled to take place from Friday, 8th November to Sunday, 10th November at Jilani Park, Jail Road.
Famous for introducing the most unique and one-of-a-kind food, this year the festival will house more than 60 kiosks, representing different kinds of cuisines from around the world. This year Lahore Eat focuses on not only food, but also its patrons by offering ‘buy one and get one free pass’ for students on the first day of the festival.
In addition, the festival will also consist of a play area and will be handicap-friendly in terms of accessibility to our members who require assistance of a wheelchair. Lahore Eat 2019 will also include performances by talented artists including TAG, Sami Khan and Zain Zohaib to name a few.
Eat is an annual food festival built around the idea of using a food platform to establish public spaces. From talented chefs to street vendors, the Eat festival opens its doors to celebrate the diversity of food that our cities have to offer.
On the festivals return to Lahore, Aslam Khan and Omar Omari of CKO Event Architecture said, “We are overjoyed to be returning to Lahore; the nation’s food capital. This year Lahore Eat is looking forward to host a much larger variety of top restaurants, eateries and home-based food enthusiasts. In addition to this, we have quite a few eateries who have created exclusive savory and sweet dishes for the festival.”
