Disney has released the first full-length trailer for the upcoming live-action The Lion King movie, which is expected to be a hit at the box office with its star-studded cast.

Scar, the villain voiced by Chiwetel Ejiofor, narrates the powerful trailer. Fans are excited to take a first up-close look at the CGI magic which has been used to bring the animal kingdom to life.

The trailer depicts how Simba grows up from a lonely cub to the ruler of the kingdom as he makes friends along the way. Donald Glover plays Simba, Billy Eichner plays Timon, Seth Rogan plays Pumbaa and Beyoncé plays Nala.

The trailer also features realistic-looking lions, hyenas, birds and beautiful imagery. Director Jon Favreau, who has previously directed the live-action and CGI version of The Jungle Book, is back at the helm for this Disney remake. The film is set to premiere on July 19, 25 years after the original film was released.
