With Verna making the rounds nationwide after a strong trailer release and a music video, the Mahira Khan and Haroon Shahid starrer is all set to release next month. However, if you thought that was it, then team Verna has yet another surprise in the bag!
While previously only ‘Sambhal Sambhal’ was released from the film as a music video, while ‘Power Di Game’ was released in the teaser, the team behind Verna chose to end the suspense once and for all and reveal all six songs from the film altogether. From fun to forlorn, the collection of songs from the film indicate the curve the story will see – something the trailer suggests as well.
The track-list includes ‘Ashko’, ‘Power Di Game’, ‘Khushi Ki Baat‘, ‘Sambhal Sambhal’, ‘Zinda ‘and ‘Lafzon Mein Kharabi Thi‘. Interestingly, Shoaib Mansoor is the lyricist of all the songs except for’ Zinda’ which has been sung, composed and written by Soch, the band. Â

Taking one on a roller-coaster ride, the songs are an interesting mix to hear as they go from fast-paced to a more somber ethos as the playlist moves forward.
From all the songs, one of the more stronger ones is Zeb Bangash and Richie Robinson’s ‘Khushi Ki Baat‘ which is a perfect track to listen to for its calming effect, and ‘Ashko’, as it almost in a prose-like style sings of the dark times in Verna. Other artistes behind the new songs include Soch for ‘Zinda’, Shuja Haider and Aima Baig for ‘Lafzon Mein Kharabi Thi’.
