Celebrities are no strangers to identity theft, but what happens when their fame is used to scam fans out of money? The latest victim of identity theft, actor Mansha Pasha has taken to social media to warn fans after she was flooded with hate mail and threats when a Facebook page used Mansha’s name to sell clothes.

“People have been threatening me claiming they haven’t received their items. People said they would call morning shows and expose me. I realised this was getting out of hand,” Mansha told us.

“If someone is using your name, they are dishonest, to begin with. They first stole my identity and then stole people’s money. This reflects badly on me because people watch my shows and assume I’m behind this scam,” she continued.

While the Facebook page has been using Mansha’s photos since 2014 as proven by the actor herself, she started receiving messages about it this year.

Mansha received a multitude of messages from distraught customers.

When confronted, the identity thieves changed their name from ‘Mansha Cloth House’ to ‘Mansha Cloth Houss.’

The Chalay Thay Saath actor has contacted the Federal Investigation Authority to identify the culprits and take legal action. As of last night, the page has been taken down.
