With a new look releasing every week, upcoming drama serial Aangan is keeping us hooked to the pre-partition tale till the highly anticipated premiere of the play. Earlier, we saw glimpses of some intense moments between Mawra Hocane and Ahad Raza Mir’s characters but the fifth teaser — which came out on Monday evening — showed a romantic side of the couple.

Mawra’s character – Aaliya – is the protagonist of the story who keeps her dignity intact even in the most unfortunate circumstances. Despite playing a strong and focused girl, there’s a hint of vulnerability in Mawra’s character, which the actress has played out beautifully as she says, “Mujhay darr lagta hai… muhabbat se.” Fans are swooning over the chemistry between Mawra’s character (Aaliya) and Ahad who is playing Jameel.

The incoherent dialogues have left us grasping at straws as to what turn Mawra and Ahad’s love story will take. While the previous teasers have established that Sajal, Ahad and Mawra will be tangled in a love triangle somehow, the recent one showed Ahad smitten by Mawra’s presence. If this wasn’t exciting enough, we saw pining stares, heartfelt embraces, teary-eyed glances, and a heartbroken Sajal.

The soundtrack playing in the background is also worth a mention as the tune is hauntingly beautiful and goes well with the performances in the play as the lyrics say, “Jo ishq karay, har dam raqsam.”
