Everyone’s favourite drama serial Meray Paas Tum Ho isn’t showing any signs of slowing down with it setting new ratings records with each episode.
According to ARY Digital, previous Saturday’s episode has gotten the “highest ever rating of any TV program” aired in Pakistan. Now that’s quite an achievement! At 18.8 TRPs, Meray Paas Tum Ho remains way ahead of competition, which by the way includes another hugely popular drama serial Alif.
What is worth noting is that the previous record was held by Dil Mom Ka Diya at 18.4 TRPs. Interestingly, Dil Mom Ka Diya was a joint production between Samina Humayun Saeed and Sana Shahnawaz’s Next Level Entertainment and Humayun Saeed’s own production house Six Sigma Plus while Meray Paas Tum Ho has again been produced by Humayun Saeed’s Six Sigma Plus. What is also quite unbelievable is that while Dil Mom Ka Diya had set that record for its final episode, Meray Paas Tum Ho has gone on to break it with just its 14th episode!
Earlier, Meray Paas Tum Ho had created another viewership record when its first received the highest ever ratings for the first episode of any drama serial in Pakistan’s history. With around 10 more episodes to go and each adding more fuel to the fire, it’s likely that Meray Paas Tum Ho will hit 22 TRPs by the time its finale goes on air, setting a record that will take some time to be broken.
